Close three-quarter view of a life-size Baroque marble sculpture in the manner of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, camera at chest height, not from the floor. The young woman's face is clearly readable: head thrown back in rapture but turned slightly toward the viewer, eyelids half-closed, mouth parted, curls of hair carved in wild living locks catching the light. White Carrara marble with warm veining, thin translucent drapery with deep undercuts, iron chains and ropes snapping mid-air, three doves in flight with individually carved feathers. One bare foot still on the rocky cloud-like base. Dramatic single shaft of warm chapel light from above left, dust in the beam, dark stone architecture behind. Museum photograph, intimate distance, shallow depth of field so the face and breaking chains stay sharp. No modern objects.
